I drove down to Southern Virginia for Turkey Day. Starting on the New Jersey Turnpike, there was an insane fog that had settled over the eastern shore. I arrived in Walkerton around 8am. The fog stayed the entire day. It was mesmerizing. I guess that’s what living in the clouds would be like.

So it’s been a while. It’s a new year, a lot has changed. Saturn returns? Probably. Life? Definitely. I’m shooting not nearly as much as I would like to be these days. But I’m also far behind on the end of the year photos. Working on these will inspire and motivate me hopefully. Watch out for a new, improved, and potentially permanent website in the next few weeks. It’s time. Onward!

Brandi Carlile came through NYC again. I think it’s probably the 20th time I’ve seen her live. She’s the only musician I sneak cameras in to see.
Brandi, or Brandi’s manager: If you are reading this, please hook me up with a lifelong press pass so I don’t get shit from bag checkers anymore. I would be much obliged. xoxo, Christy.
